If you read the crafty/sewing blogs and you hadn't heard of my book before, you probably have by now. A wonderful group of bloggers have helped me host a blog tour for Modern Mix and it has been all over the web. It's been a whole lot of fun. There are plenty of thoughtful and amusing interview questions about me out there, so if you're interested, have a look at the schedule. (Also a few of the giveaways are still open so check it out...)
Today is the last stop and obviously it's here. I won't toot my own horn, but let you go back and read all the reviews and interviews to learn more about the book.
But I do get to give away a final copy of the book and the winner at this stop will also receive a bundle of fat quarters from my latest collection of fabric called Kingdom. (Shown here in some shops...yay!)
To win all you have to do is leave a comment here and tell me either your favorite project in the book that you've seen so far, or the one you would make first. (And really folks, I'm dying to see what you make so PLEASE share pictures when you do sew something...) I will keep the contest open until Oct 26th.

There were several striking projects in the book that caught my eye! But, I am going to make the green and brown quilt. Thank you for the giveaway, my fingers are crossed!

I love the camera case! That's the scale of project I can handle, LOL. But I love your fabric collection, and I'm thinking that I would use the prize to make some quilted holiday ornaments. That is the gift I'm giving out this holiday, and I've been using holiday prints. But the purples and blues of your fabrics would be really pretty as well.

By the way, I made your owl ornament last year as gifts!

It's been a fun tour--thanks for taking us along! I think the essentials bag is super cute and with all the traveling I do, perfect for me! And btw, my son liked the boyfriend quilt--he'll be heading to college in under 2 years so I've been looking for something that will be a memory from home as well as comforting during his new-found independence. Score!!

Wow - best prize yet - the book and Kingdom! (Which I completely adore, by the way!) I am dying to make the cover quilt - I just love it! I'm also going to have to make a cute iphone cover, since I'm now the proud owner of a new phone (my last phone was from 4 years ago and hasn't worked properly in over a year...not sure how I survived now that I have a working one, thus I need to protect it with a cute quilted case like the one on this post!

I really love the quilt on the cover but I think I should start small so I will say the camer case.

I am completely in love with the quilt on the cover. Although it scares me a little because the quilting is gorgeous also and I don't know if I could handle that. Maybe one day...

The first thing I would make is the cover quilt. Next would be the twin string quilts. Thank you for the chance to win this wonderful book and fabrics. Take care and God bless, Cory
