I'll start by saying, yes, I am aware I'm a grown woman. Nearly 35 years, to be exact. But luckily I don't feel that means I have any obligation to act "grown up".
So when we were at Disney World (we had an amazing family vacation which I will hopefully post pix of soon) and I saw this adorable guy, I decided I had to have him. Not one of the kids, but me.
He's Baby Buzz Lightyear if you can't tell.
I actually told my daughter I thought all the baby characters were "freaky cute". But my heart belongs to Buzz. Problem was I didn't buy him when I first saw him. And then, as the trip was ending, he was nowhere to be found. Apparently he was only available near the Toy Story Mania ride and we weren't going back there. Boo hoo. :(
I had to leave without the one souvenir I wanted. But I was unwilling to give up the hope and even when I couldn't find him online, I kept looking. Turns out Disney has a park merchandise hotline where you can order anything from the parks. So $10 for shipping later....he's all mine.
I've been sleeping with him lately. Even his little blanket is super-cute with stars inside, rocket ships outside, and a little rocket ship to close it.
And for more cuteness, I made this little outfit for my cousin's new baby girl. I tried not to go over the top with girlie-ness because I knew she wouldn't like that. Black, white, and red are her favorite colors, so this is what I came up with. The bloomers are from Heather Ross's Weekend Sewing except sized down....and the guitar goes on the butt.
Hope you are all enjoying the start of the summer. What do you have planned? I hope we're going to see Toy Story 3 this weekend. Maybe I'll bring Buzz.

ha! My parents went to Disney this spring and brought home a Baby Buzz for my 2.5-year-old daughter. She sleeps with him every night and is super-excited to see TS3 after lunch today!

It sounds to me like you are ready to have another baby. All the attraction to the cute baby doll, sleeping with it, loving it's little blankie. I'm thinking Levitt #3 is in order. Only Aunties, can get away with saying things like this.

I feel stagnate. I can't done the projects I have planned and I just keep adding new ones.
At some point I am going to break.
Or burst into flames.
Maybe I need a vacation. LOL

I love this post, just because of the different topic. Not that I don't love your sewing/fabric topics, but it's fun to see a different part of your personality.
Yes, he's very cute. It's fun to read about your fandom.:)

HHH Yes, the design of national policy is important, how our economic development plans for the next five years, how the implementation, how to make our economy even faster. Are designed to advance our focus to invest money in what ways it should be carefully arranged.
