Help. I can't stop. Since I got back from Quilt Market, I've taught myself to crochet. Are there other much more productive things I should be doing? Absolutely. But I saw these pillows. I mean, come on. The gorgeousness is overwhelming.

Yes! I've seen those pillows, and want to shamelessly beg my MIL for something similar!

I love your new crochet projects - that scarf is wonderful (and a great color, too!) It's something I've always wanted to learn! Now I might be motivated to give it a try!

I'm so pleased to see another crafter hooked on hooking! The scarf looks fabulous, and congrats on 100 post!

You sure don't look like a beginner! Those look like stitches a little more complicated than anything I've done! Good job!

Those pillows are really cute...maybe I'll take up crocheting too!

I'm impressed - my first attempts at crocheting were awful - some really loose, some really tight - no consitency - even an elementary school child wouldn't have wanted it!

I LOVE crocheting! I remember when it finally clicked for me and I was thinking, "what?! That's it? well I can do THAT." My mom just laughed and said, "it's not rocket science!"

I finally finished mine - but it was a little tricky at first. But it's so pretty!
and those pillows are killing me with their cute bright sherbet-y flowers! When you get the flowers down, I need help.

I keep thinking I want to learn too! something to do when i'm doing nothing else - when does that happen!? LOL Love the colors you've been using :)

I love crocheting. I find you get results faster than knitting...and your stitches don't mysteriously disappear off your needle...
Those pillows are too cute. Good luck!

I love your blog.
I've always wanted to learn crochet! I hope to do that soon when I have time. Congratulations on picking it up yourself. I know what you mean about using things like this as an "escape!"

I'm a knitter and I can never seem to get the hold of much more than a crocheted chain stitch. That scarf is lovely though, I need to try again!

I am a recent follower. You're pretty dang awesome! I would love to take up knitting and crocheting again when I graduate college. In the mean time may I drool over all your hard work?
Thanks!

Holy cow you don't look like you just learned how to crochet! All your projects look fantastic! I love crocheting- but only recently have become better at it (lots of book help). Unfortunately I think I have 3 WIP's already and not one finished! Have you looked at Lucy's blog? Another lovely crafter with lots of crochet inspiration. Here is a link:

I am just learning the whole crochet thing too and I love how it can go anywhere with ease...unlike sewing machine, fabric, scissors, thread, etc!! I love the scarf and have been looking to buy that same book. Good luck with all future projects...so far, so great!

Very nice crochet work. Feeling inspired to pick it up again and learn some more - I don't know that many stitches.
I can't believe you just taught yourself! Your scarf is beautiful!

Congrats on 100 :)
My grandma tried repeatedly to teach me to crochet, all I could ever produce were long chains of knots. Beautiful, but simply beyond me :)
