It hit me recently that I am actually a real live "soccer mom" now. It's good thing, I know, that my daughter is able to do various activities, and is happy and thriving. But I feel it signals a serious plunge in my "coolness" factor. I've been driving a caravan for 4 years now, so I guess I really should have seen this coming...
I still FEEL young and at least somewhat hip, but I know it won't be too long before my daughter won't want to be seen with me for my lack of coolness. Or maybe not. Do you think I could manage to be the super-cool mom that all the teens wish they had for their own? Probably not. Its not like I'm going to have drinking parties at my house. But I will always have cool birthday parties. :)

How do you get anything done with sweet little dimples like that around the house all day?

I am so not the super cool mom the teens would want for their own but they still come here and hang out, which I love. I think they like that I'm too busy chasing the 4 year old to really pay enough attention to them!!

Hey Jess ~ You will always be cool here no matter how your kids see you :) I have a feeling they will love hanging out and making lots of new memories with you. Have a great day :)
